Rangitikei

Towns and Villages of the Rangitikei

Taihape and Utiku

Taihape and Utiku businesses serve a large rural community. State Highway 1 is the main source of traffic however from Taihape you can drive over the Gentle Annie to Napier.

We are delighted to have a growing business presence from Taihape, with 3 businesses and Utiku hopefully soon.

Mangaweka and Ohingeiti

The might Rangitikei River is accessable from Managweka with businesses running kayaking and other adventure tours.

Mangaweka also has the Electric Charging Station for EV cars on State Highway 1.

Be the first business to register in this area!!!

Hunterville

The Hunterville business community is progressive and highly engaged.  They support the township by raising funds for the sporting venues, during the year.  They also support and run (along with many more of the community) The Shemozzle – Huntaway Festival that happens each year.

We currently have 9 businesses in Business Rangitikei.  This is very heartening for this vibrant small town.

Marton

Marton is the largest town in the Rangitikei but does not have State Highway 1 running through it.  People have to make an effort to come from out of town.  Having said that, Marton has a growing community which is supported by a business community that works hard to keep going.

Bulls

Depend-a-Bulls has the distinct opportunity of being the place that is the intersect for State Highways 1 and 3.  It has struggled under the weight of traffic that is constantly passing through.  Businesses here are blessed and cursed.

Businesses support a small township with rural area along with Airforce families. People come from all the local townships to take advantage of great services, the Doctors and Physio just to name a couple.

Turakina and Koitata

Turakina is on State Highway 3 and the intersection that comes into Marton. Turning towards the sea at the western most part you will find Koitiata which remains a quiet traditional coastal village that is connected as a community, with access to nature, green space, and a wide range of recreation.  There is a camping ground by the river to the sea.

We would welcome any businesses with open arms.  Come and represent.
