It aims to advance the academic and social development of its students by providing an opportunity to learn through experience.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Kahunui, an area of exceptional ecological and botanical value, provides a great opportunity for ecological monitoring, management and teaching. The reports we\u2019ve commissioned help students understand the nature of the property, the way it works, and how this should drive the way it\u2019s managed.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d63683e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d63683e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The first,\u00a0An Overview of Ecological and Archaeological Resources,\u00a0was a base-line survey now being used as a reference tool and as a starting point for further educational initiatives.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">A second report was produced to detail the opportunities for ecological experience and learning there and outline potential projects and information resources.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Both documents were produced by Willie Shaw of Wildland Consultants.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">St Cuthbert\u2019s has established a Biodiversity Management Plan for Kahunui.
