On its three other boundaries it\u2019s surrounded by public conservation land; the Pyke Forest administered by the Department of Conservation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The property is either Podocarp forest (typically near the lake edge) or a Podocarp, Kamahi and Tree Fern assemblage some 100 to 200 metres in from the lake.
