Improving computer access and computer skills in our community

Who are we for?

Everybody, but especially those who are missing out.
ie. rural and isolated, young, old, low income, Māori and Pacifica.
Anyone wanting to improve their computer skills or make their phone, tablet or computer work for them.

Training

You can come anytime to the Marton Hub on a Thursday for one-on-one training with Angela. Angela is also tutor for a 10 week basic computer training course at Nga Wairiki
Ngati Apa’s Henderson’s Line, Marton campus. It’s a UCOL Adult Community Education (ACE) Course, so free of charge for New Zealanders. You are in a small group setting
with a refreshment break half way through each 2 hour session.

Volunteers

We appreciate our volunteers.  Check out when each person is available

Skinny Jump

The Marton ICT Hub offers the modems that supply Skinny Jump for people who can’t afford a standard broadband plan to their home.
